  • Madolyn Henline, LGPC

Hi! My name is Madolyn Henline, and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. I am currently under the supervision of Stephany Ponciano, LCPC.  After seeing the positive effects of counseling on those around me growing up, I wanted to become one of the many people with the privilege to help those around me. I’m compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated, and I love to bring a bit of humor into the session- only when appropriate! I am also a sex-positive and LGBTQ+-affirming therapist.

I graduated from Hood College with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before that, I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology at St. Mary’s College of Maryland in southern Maryland. I have a person-centered approach, and I encourage open communication between myself and my clients on how to make therapy as beneficial as possible for them, I am always willing to hear feedback and adjust to make the experience as comfortable and helpful as possible!

I have experience working in a clinical setting with clients ranging from 5-65 years old.   I counseled individuals and groups with various behavioral and mental health challenges.  My clinical experience includes working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and anger management, and multiculturalism among others.

When I’m not in session, I practice self-care. I love playing games, visiting local coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
